The Wilding Stories at Nannup Music Festival

Like a version … Join facilitators Margot Edwards and Tilly Kelleher for a collective, deep listening experience of three pre-recorded audio versions of The Wilding - an original folktale told in ancient Celtic tradition, a Noongar-English yarn around the campfire, and rousing a-capella ballad wrapped around lyric performance poem.

Followed by a 45 minute conversation around the craft of taking story to song, reinterpretations , versions, the nature of cross-cultural archetypes and folktale traditions and our collective fascinations with re-arranging and performing in contemporary framings.
