Arising through International Women’s Day, The Wilding empowers us all to stand together and enact “no more” in the context of abuse and violence against women, against our planet

and against peoples of all cultures and persuasions.

From it has sprung The Wilding Stories – an audio storytelling project; a story of magic realism, told and retold by powerful women’s voices in powerful ways; designed to reach people in all stages of life, in our homes, our communities and across the globe.

Each of us tells and hears a story in different ways. The Wilding Stories is a multi-arts project, opening a safe space for listening, and an invitation for collective conversations around our lives as daughters, perhaps as sisters or mothers, leaders in our communites, our workplaces and neighbourhoods, carers for our elders and youngers and those in need or in pain or overcoming adversity, as friends and allies, as creatives and as influential advocates in the state of our worlds.

Appearing at numerous Western Australian arts festivals in 2021-2023 as audio installation, listening lounge and workshop facilitation.

“When do we get to sit still and quiet, with nothing else going on for forty-five minutes and just listen?

So deeply rewarding.”
